Mark Basnage has just published a nice quick sketch of the problem space that STEM++ is designed to address. Read it all here on Medium.
Updates from Mid-August
We’re so excited to see STEM++ coming together. Our trial balloon meeting in May was such a terrific success — 70 people from 30 different schools and organizations, representing all parts of the Bay Area and all kinds of schools (PreK, elementary, middle, high school, community college, University; public, charter, diocesan, independent).
October is going to be amazing– amazing venue (a school on the mid-Peninsula with plenty of parking, and a beautiful LEED-certified auditorium/cafeteria); great food; and really phenomenal group of people participating.
There’s still time to suggest/lead a breakout conversation. This is not one of those boring conferences where “important” people talk at you.
More news soon on some of our participants.
